First off, as an active member, you will be kept informed of the various social and cultural events and activities
that TAA-KC stages or participates in.
While many of these events and activities are free of charge, paying members will enjoy reduced rates at others
that are subject to cost recovery charges.
This mundanity aside, think about the following.
Since our work is made possible by voluntary support and involvement of the membership, you will experience great
satisfaction and pride by being a part of our effort and success.
By becoming a member and getting involved, you will help build a stronger association and help better promote Turkish culture and history.
The more Turkish culture becomes known and the better it is understood by more people in your larger community,
the more comfortable and at home you will feel.
One of the functions of this association, as you would appreciate, is to facilitate our passing
Turkish culture and heritage onto future generations.
In most of our events and activities, you and your family will find the opportunity to meet and socialize with peers of similar
background and heritage.
You will thus make new friends and network with people of common interests, and your children will not grow alien or indifferent
to your culture and heritage.
